Welcome to the Varsity M AssociationMizzou Sports Team Update SOFTBALL TEAM ENDS REGULAR SEASON The Missouri softball team ended its regular season with a 1-1 split in their series with Nebraska. Missouri will take on Texas Tech, the sixth seed, at the 13th annual Big 12 Softball Championships Saturday, May 10. The Tigers enter the annual tournament held at the ASA Hall fo Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, OK as the No. 3 seed. WOMEN'S GOLF UPDATE The Mizzou women's golf team was selected for the NCAA East Regional, it's sixth-consecutive season it has advanced to the NCAA Regional. It is the tigers 10th trip to the postseason in the last 11 years. The NCAA East Regional will be played May 8-10 at the UGA Golf Course in Athens, GA. TRACK AND FIELD NEWS The Tiger track and field squads has athletes in three locations over the weekend, with the bulk competing at the Arkansas Twilight in Fayetteville, ARK. The Tigers posted several solid performances that will catapult individuals high in the rankings entering championship season.
